6 months old!

Photobucket

Asher, you are 6 months old!! (and 3 days)

I cannot believe how fast you're growing! It seems like just yesterday you were born!

You love to roll over from front to back and back to front.

You are very good at sitting up on your own now, though I still leave the boppy behind you or stay close by because when you get excited you fling yourself backwards into the floor and then you're not so excited anymore.

You still wear a size 1 diaper, but I think that will be changing VERY soon.  You are wearing 3-6 month clothes and some just 6 month, and I've even had to put away some of the smaller 3-6 month things.

You LOVE your toys and your brother's toys as well. You love when he plays with you, or when Kyley plays with you as well.

Kyley still thinks you are like a baby doll and she can play "house" with you. She likes to carry you around and pretend to put you to bed and you think she's the funniest thing.

Just this weekend (2 days ago!) You started making actual syllables instead of squeals. You are saying "ma" very well, and it's funny to watch you study our mouths as we talk and mimic the movement.

Your toes are one of your favorite toys, and chew toys at that.

You want to crawl so badly, but you need to work on your strength in your arms and torso first, but that will come soon enough sweet boy. You want to be able to 'hang' with Kyley and Elijah and go wherever they go.

You've been trying a little bit of food here and there, though we aren't pushing the issue. You've so far had banana baby food, and banana baby puffs and cookies to play with, though you aren't really eating them, I put them on your tray while we eat so you can practice picking them up.

You LOVE cups. You want to steal anyone's cup that you see, and you love your own cup if it has something yummy in it (so far I've only put breastmilk or water in it, and you much prefer the milk haha)

I am so in love with you sweet little man, I can't wait to see what the next six months brings as well.
