Take me out to the ballgame...

Elijah got to go to his first baseball game.
Photobucket

This was Kyley's 3rd time going to see the Biscuits (yes you read that right)

Photobucket

They had so much fun watching everything that went on.
They clapped with the music and enjoyed watching the "biscuit bunch" dance.

This was the view from our seats.

Pretty sweet if you ask me. A sweet friend made that possible.

And one more fun shot just because I have it.

The wild.

So, I've been MIA because we've been spending a lot of family time outside at random places, and we're having a blast :)

Yesterday, we went to my in laws to hang out with them and grill out, etc.

After lunch we took the kids to the park up the street, and we saw many "creatures" that the kids are not accustomed to seeing in the city.

Kyley exclaimed at one point... "This is so much fun being in the wild!"

Oh that child...

We've been to numerous parks, bike riding, a baseball game and played in the pool in our yard this week and the kids are having so much fun.

Here are a few pictures from "the wild"

This week after swimming in the pool in the yard.

One of the many "creatures" Kyley loved playing with.

and a bloom on the tree that covered the park we were at yesterday. Do any of you know what this is?

a post in which i ramble a lot and there are no pictures

HI!

I'm really making an effort to stay up to date with the blog.

I created it to document our lives and to share things God has laid on my heart and lately I've not been doing a great job of fulfilling that.

The last few weeks have been super busy.

I've started my own business. Or at least I'm working on it.

You can see that HERE  Well at least the facebook fan page. I'm working on getting a website live, I just haven't gotten there yet.

I'm teaching preschool this week. It makes me miss the gym just a tad. But makes me grateful to be a stay at home mom all the more.

Kyley has 3 more soccer games this season.

Next week she graduates from preschool.

Earlier this month Elijah turned 2. I have tons of birthday party pics to post.

We also have a dance recital this month as well.

God has blessed us. Over and over and over again.

We are going to the zoo tomorrow for a field trip. That should be fun.

Someone offered to buy all of the kids burgers while we're there. Thanks Sue!

I'm stoked about what we have going at Celebrate Recovery. God is moving.

Derek's birthday is tomorrow. Happy early birthday dear.

I really think this has been random enough now haha

Look foward to a few pictures posts in the upcoming days. I can't wait to show you some of the things we've been up to!

a new fave and a few notes...

Yikes. I've been a HORRIBLE blogger lately. I am hoping to catch up this week. yay.

Kyley was in her first drama today. I linked the video to my facebook acct.

And this is my new fave worship song. Our worship minister wrote and arranged it. Our pastors wife is the soloist.  If it's your will, God I will go.

love. I hope you enjoy.

The Claxton's

I recently had the opportunity to spend some time with a family that is very special to me.
I babysat for them when Chandler was born and up until they moved shortly after the twin's first birthday.
So they moved to Texas. Fast forward TEN years.

This is Chandler.

Photobucket

oh how now I'll have to pull out and scan a pic of us when she was little haha (and gosh do I feel old now!)

And these are the twins. Haley and Reagan.

Photobucket

I loved getting to see you guys and get real life hugs (we chat on facebook often).
And yay for them coming back this summer for a visit!

I love you girls!

Reese

Meet Reese.

Photobucket

I love this girl. She has such an awesome heart.

Photobucket

Reese came to visit recently for a short time and we all had a blast. It was so great to "catch up" and just hang out for a bit. Not to mention my kids love her, so they had fun too!

Photobucket

We stayed up waaaaay too late, and even snuck in a small tour of the historic sites of downtown Montgomery before she left. Loads of fun.

 Photobucket

Reese, thanks for coming to see us on your way to the big ATL, I'm so blessed to call you friend.

Ketchup

Well, more like CATCH up.

The past few weeks have been super busy, so I'm going to "catch up" with a brief synopsis.

Kyley got her letter from magnet school- she's not officially in yet, but still in the pool, so we wait some more.

I'm starting my own business. And I'm putting a lot of time into the prep work for that.

Soccer season has started.

Ballet recital is just around the corner.

LOTS of birthday's this month.

I've been working on a fun project for my pastor (see previous posts w/ pics) that took a lot of my time shooting and editing pictures

I'm also working on being ready for two fairly large photo shoots in the next few weeks. yay!

Family reunion is in 3 weeks.

Reese came to visit! (pics to come)

So did Donny & Chandler and Haley and Reagan. (pics to come)

Life has been CRAZY :)

Any more you wanna know?

And for good measure... here's a few pics from the park this weekend.

sneak peek

Ok so it's not so much of a sneak peek for a few of you.

But... I've been working on something fun and wanted to share a little peek with you guys.

I'm having WAY too much fun with this!

ETA: since I've been asked... the bokeh in the first pic IS straight out of camera... :) Only editing was a little contrast.

Jared. at. home.

Here are a few pictures while Uncle Jared was at home.

We were so glad to get to hang out with him. Kyley was super attached and I thought we were going to have a huge meltdown this night when we left. Poor girl loves her uncles. All of them.
