Yeah- so I love my kids...

I took them this weekend to Portrait Innovations to get some professional pics done.. On a whim... and here are a few of the results!

I really enjoyed how they did things there- they were very thorough and very prompt.

Frustration...

Ok here's my disclaimer- just ignore this totally.


Today I'm frustrated-

I'm frustrated with the way I get spoken to (by many different people)

I'm frustrated with the way I get treated (again by many different people)

I'm frustrated with my weight- and my lack of motivation

I'm frustrated with my self esteem

I'm frustrated with my house

I'm frustrated with doing laundry

I'm frustrated with doing dishes

I'm frustrated with the fact that sometimes I feel like I"m the only one trying

I'm frustrated with wanting to motivate others

I'm frustrated with the stupid comments people make with no regard to my children being there

I'm frustrated in general.

Derek?

Elijah pulled this shirt out of Derek's drawer and tried to put it on himself. SO... Mommy came to the rescue and helped him and he thought he was hilarious!

Pump Pump Pump it Up!!!!

So while the girlies were in school today- Amy and I took the boys to the drop in play time at Pump It Up... they had a blast!!! Elijah really surprised me!

Disclaimer: don't mind the horrible quality of the photos... the lighting in there is awful to shoot in and my battery was dying so I didn't take many.

Then mommy's batteries died so I didn't get one of him actually sliding... well I technically did but it didn't save to the camera, along with one of Amy and Parker sliding together *sigh*

what do 4 kids, 4 canvases and a lot of paint have in common?

This past week, we had the honor of hanging out with my good friend Melissa
and her beautiful munchkins :)

It's always nice to get out of the house and have a playtime with another mommy who parents and thinks the way you do... thanks for having us over!

The kids got to paint their very own canvas!




Even sweet little Connor got in on the action:

I snapped this series of photos at the first soccer game last saturday- silly kids... :) this was just as they were about to kick off for the second half and they just stood there like this :)

On the first day of First Grade Preschool

Kyley has been so excited for literally YEARS to start school... This fall she is now old enough to go to preschool/K4/pre-K whatever you want to call it!

Before heading to school we went to Chick Fil A for FREE breakfast! How cool is that? Free breakfast AND a picture with the cow on your very first day of school?

And when I went to pick her up I took a picture of her at her "seat" with her nametag.




She had such a great time! She's loving it everyday and is so excited about it! I can't believe my baby is so grown up!

Dance, Dance, Dance

I had a small photo shoot this weekend with Emily, Kristen, and Kyley at the Shakespeare Festival Gardens and they turned out so cute! Here is a small preview:
